Dr. Marie McDonald & Dr. Cynthia Bailey
Dr. Marie McDonald is a licensed psychologist with more than 18 years of experience in the fields of clinical psychology, developmental psychology, and community mental health. As a licensed psychologist, Dr. McDonald has worked as an administrator and supervisor of mental health programs in a large community mental health center, and as a staff psychologist in a group practice. For the past 12 years, Dr. McDonald has been in private practice. Currently, she specializes in providing psychotherapy services for adults, young and old. She provides individual and family counseling to address depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, life changes, and loss. Dr. McDonald also provides supportive counseling for older adults, their spouses, and extended family as they face new problems and decisions brought on by aging. Dr. McDonald is personally acquainted with the challenges of the "Sandwich Generation". She resides in Sarasota, Florida in a newly merged household with her husband, teenage son, mother-in-law, and father-in-law.
Dr. Cynthia Bailey is a licensed Clinical neuropsychologist who has worked in the field of neuropsychology for more than 15 years. Dr. Bailey's experience includes clinical work in Texas where she helped patients with brain injuries live independently post-injury, and trained many to resume employment. She later developed an inpatient brain injury program for a Florida facility, which grew to include an extensive outpatient program and pediatrics program, as well as programs to aid elderly stroke patient's return to their highest level of independence. She currently maintains a private practice in Sarasota, specializing in geriatric, adult and adolescent neuropsychological assessment and treatment, as well as forensic neuropsychological evaluations.
